Truth of GCETTS

Students have to attend wbjee exam and rank before 9000 to apply for this course. admission process is really easy after someone gets a good rank in the exam he has to select colleges and courses from top to bottom according to his priority.

In present times we all know now getting a job is tough. But textile engineering in Serampore gives 100% placement and that's the main reason I joined this college. the faculty is pretty good and teaching is also good college has old machines and teachers encouraged us to open them reassembled them and learn .passing the exam is a little hard because u will not get specific books which have questions and u only get textbooks which are brief and therefore have to attend college and make your own notes so if someone misses classes passing the exam will be tough.

There are so many companies that offer internships like reliance, Arvind, bardawan, and Jayashree. I had done my internship in Raymond. My project was to know how linen fabrics are made. After 1 month I have to make a ppt and show it to the hr.

I don't know this because everyone was placed. After the 7th sem placements start there are companies like Raymond, Jayashree, 4 stars, Arvind, Wardawan, reliance, and Bishnu cotton. The highest was 32000 per month and avg will be 25000 a month.

Form fee was 1200 and tuition fee was 1500 and in that 42 students, 2 seats are already tfw seats I was one of tfw students so I didn’t have to pay tuition fee and I didn’t remember accurately but after 1st year whose financial conditions are not ok and have good marks they would not have to pay the tuition fee thereafter there were 5 seats who have full fee-free and 5 seats who have to pay half of the fee. Other than that also have a scholarship for obc (12000 per year) sc ( around 32000)st students.

Here this college lacks a bit. The campus is too small I would say.No gym and a too-small ground. The annual fest is conducted around December and the tech fest is around August. About sports intra, college cricket and football tournament are conducted. The library is good there are so many books. The classrooms are also good the view from the window is great because our college is right beside the Ganga river. So u can enjoy the view during the break.
