Remarks

It’s a nice place to get graduate. Faculty is not so experienced though. But overall learning experience is good here. There is no free Wi-Fi in college. Timings are also little bit complicated than others. But overall environment is good. Strict directions are followed here. Events and communities are also very active here.

Entrance Preview

To take admission in this college all you need to do is score more than 50% in 12th and if have a SC ST background you can get a quota also, the compulsory subjects are physics chemistry and mathematics or you can have biology in pplace of chemistry.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is too good as it provides knowledge not just about your branch but also includes compulsory special courses in humanities, law and business. It also contains compulsory mini and major projects for enhancing the knowledge of students.

Internships Opportunities

We we get industry exposure when we do projects under the faculty that has some tie up with a company. Internship data too is secured & generally not much is known.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is increasing every year. IBM, Infosys, TCS etc. are coming to recruit. And 65%+ were placed last year. The highest placement is around 12 lakhs. Google recently signed an MOU. Placement cell is polite. L&T also visited. And Adani group also came for recruitment.

College Events

4.5

Events taking place at Amity are so much as there is fresher's party given to the students by the college but some events like the fest is to be waited for where we get to see live bands performing in the campus and many know celebrities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is nominal which is increasing every year, and turns out to be a total of 7,50,000 including registration and security deposit. And then there are hostel charges seperately.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are easily available and Sanction can be accorded by Branch of OBC where campus of Amity is located irrespective of the location of the student.

Campus Life

5

The infrastructure is excellent. It is a very big college with a peaceful atmosphere. Wi-Fi facility is provided by the college. There were 7 Wi-Fis available in the college but with poor connections. The labs were good with efficient lab technicians. There are library facilities too with a fee of Rs. 3000 for 4 years. NCC is there in the college.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are good with superb mess facilities. Each department has its own park to rest for students and teachers. Everywhere a guard is present. In night time, the campus is full of lights. Entrance is wide with two gates.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are nice to juniors. No ragging case has ever appeared since the starting of the college. Amity organizes a brilliant alumni meet every year for every department on different dates.

Exam Structure

The books which you get from book bank are not very relevant and does not contain complete course but teachers are very helpful and will provide you with notes or ppts to prepare from. The course curriculum is designed to get the best out of one in any discipline. Gives enough free time but teaches you a lot.

Faculty

3.5

Professors are good for 3rd and 4th years students. In 1st year some teachers are M.tech students. Mainly 4 engineering branches are here: ECE- 120 seats, ME- 60 seats, CS- 120 seats, Biotechnology- 120 seats. In my view, CS is the best branch here and for CS, 12 labs are available.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
