Remarks
The admission process in L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad is governed by ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) Gujarat. In which they declare the rank of all students applied all over the state which is calculated by (60% of PR in board exam + 40% of PR in GujCET exam).
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decided by Gujarat Technological University (GTU). This is one of the best government engineering colleges. But in some subjects, we have to prepare by ourselves. Most of the Faculty members are good as we see they are government employees. All of the faculty members are Post Graduate in M. E./M.Tech and some are Ph.Da. also. Exams are neither too hard nor too easy.
Placement Experience
In the last year, of course, placement starts. Companies start coming to college after July for recruitment of final year students. The highest package is 12 Lakhs per annum. Placements are very good. There is a Training and Placement Cell on the campus that organizes the whole placement activities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are so low. Since it is a government college we have to pay only 2390 per year. And for girl students & S.C./S.T. boy students do not have to pay fees. We can apply for government scholarships like NSP, the Digital Gujarat Scholarship scheme, and also MYSY.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is excellent. There is so a huge campus. In college, there are 14-16 clubs where extra curriculum activities are done every month. A national-level tech-fest "Lakshya" Is organized in our college every year in and so many participants come to our campus to take part in events of Lakshya.
