Remarks

You need to clear the cutoff for JEE Main exam. You have to fill out the application form for JEE Main Exam. I think the whole process should be online. Entrance exam: jee main paper 1 class 12 with a minimum percentage of 75% aggregate in PCM

I choose it because there was a decent history of placements in the Mining Department of NIT Rourkela. Faculty: student ratio was 1:30 during our time All faculties are well qualified. mots of them are passed out from IITs/NITs

Placements generally start in the 7th semester. In 2019-20 NIT Rourkela placements, 42 LPA was the maximum CTC to Btech students. the average CTC recorded was INR 11.92 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Myntra, EXL, Tredence, ZS etc. visits

time Admission fee is around Rs. 30000-40000 other than that Rs. 65000/semester the national or state government offers scholarships like post-matric scholarships (PMS), top-class scholarships, GATE scholarships etc. to students of the institute.

Campus Life

There are major three annual fests on campus: Cultural fest, Technical fest, Sports meet There is a separate building for the library with plenty of books and a good environment. There are various playgrounds for different games for the whole campus apart from that there is also a small playground in a hostel for games like badminton, volleyball etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft
