Eligibility of B.Sc. Physics (hons.) In my admission time (2020) you have at least of 95% in PCM in 12th standard if you belong to general category . Now you have to clear the entrance exam (CUCET) by opting PCM as domain subjects and a language subject. You get application form from DU official site or from NTA official site also because yous exam will be coducted by NTA. I have not availed any reservation benifits.

Because of my interest i have selected it .Faculty to student ratio is also good which is about 1 to 20 student .The faculty is great . Almost all teacher's are well experienced , highly educated and they taught us very efficiently . They take even extra classes for solving doubts of students .Exams were taken all at the time during covid time in OBE mode

Internships Opportunities

Internshala , Preleaf , Unity , Youth etc with approximate stipend of 5k to 10k . You can do intership in IIT Delhi also in physical mode or in online mode . Ramjas college provide best platform for those who wants to do internships .

Fees and Financial Aid

17610 Rs is the yearly fee for a physics hons student and that is not too much for that quality education . College provide internship also like in unity , internshala, youth and many other companies which is with stipend or without and has various type of socities .

Campus Life

Ramjas college library is one of the biggest and oldest library of DU having a lots of book . The Sports Department offers excellent facilities in various sports like Archery , Basketball , Volleyball , Chess , Football , Athletics , judo , Weightlifting , Bodybuilding etc . Drama society is the best example .

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
