Marwadi University | ICT dept shines

Almost everyone who has passed class 12th can apply for BTech and those who have passed class 10th can apply for Diploma in this University. You can visit the university to get a better perspective and to get the application form, fees, and related stuff. Alternatively, if you have given the GUJCET exam then you can also apply through ACPC. There are reservation benefits but only for OBC and another backward castes. The fees are almost 46 thousand Indian rupees per semester, after the reservation benefit, it would be like only 6-7 thousand Indian rupees per semester. My admission process was quite smooth just because it was different than the other branches. ICT department works much differently than the other branches. They openly showed us the department placement history and explained to me about internships and all. They also asked us to visit each and every area of the department on the very day of the admission process. All I can say is ICT department is the best thing here at Marwadi University.

I chose this course since I was interested in Software related stuff as well as Hardware related too! Faculty: student ratio is quite normal Qualifications of faculties related to technology are very good. Term exams are taken as per schedule, no delays on that. They are moderate papers just we need to know are the conceps.

Internships in various companies have various roles and tasks. It's not generally what role the student gets but yes whichever he/she gets is always helpful to get a job in the future. Projects are there in the ICT department wherein the outcomes are live means more understandable

From semester 7, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, etc visit and make avg offers of 8-10Lac INR for bright students. The highest package in the ICT department is 12-15Lac INR whereas in CE it's 35Lac INR 99% of students got placed from ICT Dept.

Cost to study is like we have to purchase some textbooks from our side if you're serious about studies. Reference books, textbooks, etc are always available in the library. I didn't get any financial aid to paying the fees in the General category.

MU Fest happens every year, however, in 2022, it was kind of boring since no concert happened. In summertime, it's conducted. Almost every book is available in the library. Classrooms are equipped with all the basic facilities. ACs are not there in every class though. Sports are a myth here, only people who don't want to study are playing sports. Till semester 1 everyone had sports but no one took them seriously. Our ICT department runs student club like Compuper Programming!
