Remarks
The minimum requirement of the course is to pass with 50% altogether in English, physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics. The students can apply here or take admission through AUAT, WBJEE and merit-based admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course provides well industrial opportunities with higher placement chances. The faculty members are full of knowledge and are too helpful to every student. Faculties are highly qualified and train students in very innovative ways. Talking about the semsters, the exams take place on time and are not too tough to pass.
Internships Opportunities
100% of students of the batch got internships at Alembic in Sikkim and Glenmarl in Mumbai for the duration of one month. The tasks given included filling prescriptions, answering customer questions about medications and performing basic clerical duties.
Placement Experience
The placement starts in the 7th semester. The placements are around 80-85%. Companies like CIPLA, ALEMBIC, GLENMARK, DOCTOR REDDY'S CLINIC NESTLE, SUN PHARMA visit for campusing. The highest package is 3.8LPA and the lowest is 1.8LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the course is 725625 in total. There are various scholarships also available here such as the Student credit card system by govt of West Bengal and other scholarships which are provided on the basis of AUAT.
Campus Life
Our college organises Global Summit, national and international webinars, and tech fests for the students. There are 51000 books 70 print journals 224 E-Journals 10 thesis. Here, sports and extracurricular activities are favoured a lot for the personal development of students. There is a total of 10 clubs where various club activities are done.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. there are different hostels for boys and girls. The food court provides food four times a day which is breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. a special dinner is provided every Sunday. There are double and triple bedded rooms available at the girl's hostel and in the boy's hostel with double and triple bedded, single bedded rooms are also available with facilities of water purifiers, A.C., 24X7 Wi-Fi, ambulance, doctor and high security.
Interview Experience
After qualifying for the AUAT the students need to give a face a PI round for fulfilling the admission criteria. the PI/ GD round is not too much tough. The questions are being asked about the related subject and on the basis of students' interests.
