Remarks

The college has free entry till the first-semester exam. there is no any criteria for admission . you only need to pass plus two for admission , through official website you can avail admisssion form or you direct can call service centre giet university gunupur and confiremed the admission . As I passed first year i didn' t show any kind of reservation benefits for the student

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties members are good, you can clear your doubts any time, from any facilities you willing to. facilities are friendlier, and can help you to learn if you are really willing it. facilities are experienced and teaching method is not so standard. blackboard chalk and sometimes ppt are used for maximum teaching method. Exams are taken sop serious and extremely tight.

7 semester students are ready to get placed. Wipro TCS from famous business has visited campus. especially offers are around 2/3 lakh are offered to every student from the collage. The highest package is 12 lakh and the average package which is 92% percentage is 2 lakh. 92 % percentage get placed. after I get degree i will try to move USA

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee including hostel mess is 820000 overall, plus extra charges, swimming charges, library charges, dispensary charges, and gym charges are extra which will be added to your account. There is no financial support from the college, you have to clear the fee timely else you have to suffer a lot. If you failed to pay the money fee timely you will not get any chances to appear in the exam. Placements are good but the average package is 2/3 lakh per annum

Campus Life

We have a tech-fest every year in April. which is okay from some point. The library is first class All books/journals are available in the library, the library opens 24*7 and 10-5 pn except Sunday and winter AC Services in the library are given. Sports and extra curriculum are timely active from seniors and are many clubs run by senior to teach something to junior which is good GIETU sports, gdsc, dsc etc are some clubs operate on college

Hostel Facilities

Weekly toilet cleaning room swiping etc are given to the hostel. mess food during 6 months of the semester are first-class then changes to second class. weekly 2 times chicken 2 times 3gg and 1-time fish are served every year throughout the college. and registration is easy once you get inside the college

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
