Remarks

The management of the college is very good and discipline oriented. There is still a lot of scope of improvement.

Entrance Preview

IPU CET 2015. My rank was around 1800 in the entrance examination. I choose this college because it offers good placement and is near to my residence.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is the one assigned by GGSIPU. It is good and takes care of the criteria that requires one to be a sound engineer. The structure of the couse offers a student to have the basic knowledge of more than one branch of engineering ie. an electrical engineer would have the basic understanding of computers as well as mechanics.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college does not provide internships. Although our college does provide us with letters and documents which make getting internships easier.

Placement Experience

4

The placements and opportunities in our college are very good. The placement of this college is among the best in the university. Frequent companies that visit us are: Dell, TCS, Infosys, HCL etc. And the packages that are offered are mostly around 4Lakhs per annum(average package) and the highest goes to around 13 to 18 lpa.

College Events

3

There are many fests which are celebrated in our college. The annual fest of the college is held in the month of march. It consists of many technical as well as cultural events which give opportunities to students to showcase their talents. The technical events include robotics and AI events which are very famous in our college. The participation is very large and colleges from all around Delhi participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for any middle class background student. It varies slightly from branch to branch but overall it is nearly same. It is around 1.2 lakhs per year, which amounts to around 5 lakhs in 4 years which is a pretty feasible amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I don't know of any special scholarships or fee waivers offered by the college. Although there are provisions for loans offered by government.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is balanced in our college.Though its is not exactly 50:50, but its still a good ratio. The labs are well equipped and are modern. There is scope for improvement in the extracurricular activities and the college should be more supportive in such areas. There are many competeions and seminars on robotics which provide students with a sound learning environment.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are hostel facilities for students who come from far off places. The rooms of the hostel are average in size and the food is provide ld by the mess of the college. I don't have much experience of hostel I have not opted for it. But it is pretty feasible for students. The PGs nearby the college campus offer renal in ranges from 4000 to 10000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumini network is pretty strong and the alumnus help students and guide them whenever possible.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is the one assigned by GGSIPU. it is a good structure of examination. It tests a student's knowledge of the subject and is conducted every semester. Also there are mid semester exams that are held after 4 weeks of the start of semester. Regular class tests ensure that a student is regular in studies.

Faculty

4

The faculty of our college is pretty good in terms of academic background. Many of our professors are Ph.Ds and have a deep knowledge and understanding of their respective subjects. The students are given practical exposure in laboratories and are guided by the faculty in those areas.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
