Great College

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is definitely a good choice for studious chaps. Location and Hangouts are a drawback so watch out for that. Teachers are strict as well. But overall, the placements, crowd and the reputation has the legacy going. One needs a very good rank to get in this college.

I had given CET Exam of ipu and scored 1000 rank. I had been alloted seat i this particular college.I came to listen great reviews hence joined this.

Course curriculum which is being tough is sufficient. Study is according to the syllabus.Due to effectively designed pattern students had to apply very low potential. All the key points are covered of the syllabus. Curriculum is perfect according to me no extra efforts needed.

Maharaja Aggarsem Institute of Technology provides internship in 3rd year for btech student. Overall experience was really good and full of new things.

Companies like Honda and Mahindra are the regular recruiters for the core branches during the placement season. Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and many more software companies recruit students from CS and IT and offer a pay packager around 4 lakhs per annum. The placements for Computers and IT are almost 100% while it’s roughly around 70% for the core branches. The college has a good record for placements and thus is highly ranked in the university.

Techsurge and Mridanga are the two festivals celebrated at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) on a large scale during the month of February. So many other events too held. They were nicely organised. But sometimes it feels like there is lack of funds.

Scholarships are provided to the students who performed great in their preceding year in the college. The freshers are also provided with some scholarships on the basis of class 12 performance.Loan facility is provide and we can also after taking permission pay the fee in steps over 2-3 months

Outside of the classroom, students are not encouraged to pursue their interests, learn new skills.If you have the zeal then go for it yourself. You have to find your way. some teachers will help you and senior also are helpful here. MAIT has a nice campus life where students can take part in a wide range of activities,be it drama, dance, sports or technical. but this can seems to be can only from years because of administration.

The hostel charges are roughly around Rs. 17,000/- per year and the facilities are pretty average and nothing to boast about. Fees:Rs. 90,000 per year. It is quite expensive poor students. But for medium class students it is affordable and perfect.

Maharaja Aggarsen Institute of Technology is having an alumni association by which we can easily connect through our alumni. Seniors are reallt helpful.

Exam seems to be real burden. Lab were great we get to learn new things and we enjoy them. They were a real experience to all we study. But at the same time there written work and exams seem to be impossible. But important at the same time. So I fell hectic.

The teaching department at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is excellent and quite experienced. Most of them have thorough knowledge about their respective topics and have years of teaching experience. The faculty for Fluid Mechanics in the Engineering Department are very good. Sometimes the lectures are conducted on an irregular basis as well. Overall, the staff is quite good and friendly and conduct lectures mostly in English.
