Remarks

College is good for middle-class families. The fee structure is not too much. One of the good colleges in Jamshedpur. Jamshedpur is growing and so is our college. Improvements like providing in-depth vast knowledge to students are needed. Else, everything is fine. Cultural programs are the best part of this college. I'd say, overall, the college is above average for Jamshedpurians.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well, this is a major problem for Karim city college. Exams are held very late. I'd want our college to make better decisions about this. I got admission in August back in 2020 and the examination of Sem 1 was held after more than a year, that is, in November. Our Sem 2 got postponed and now we just are promoted to 3rd sem. College should take this into consideration.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Placement Experience

In my area, students are eligible for placements in the 3rd Sem itself. I don't have the exact number in mind about the no. but as I have talked to my seniors, placements are not that great but companies like Wipro, and TCS are popular in our college. Last year, I read in the newspaper that a senior from our college got placement in Byjus. So we are improving as other companies are taking an interest. Overall, it needs to improve in providing the betterment of skills for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't heard of scholarships from this college. Maybe I'm not aware of something. Financial assistance is not that good. Also, placements are not as per our financial meets so I'd hope more companies give ourselves better chance. Companies like TCS and Wipro are good examples that give us chance. The package is not appealing though.

Campus Life

NSS KCC, Jsr is a channel that uploads all the performances of curricular activities. I'm sure you'll enjoyed it. Also, there are plenty of other channels too you can just type Karim City College in the search bar of YouTube and you'll get the related videos.

I see a lot of students who struggled in maths, that's why I chose this course. If I talk about real-world examples, from number systems to multiplication, fractions and trigonometry to find the height of pole. Areas of improvement are to relate mathematics with real-world examples, use methods like Vedic mathematics, and also creative, active participation rather than rote memorisation.

Life at karim city college jamshedpur

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information.
