BIT mesra great college with great opportunities and exposure with few shortcomings

For bachelors the eligibility is one must qualify JEE Mains exam. After that go for JOSSA and CSAB. After that you will get seat according to rank. For masters take a look at the college's admission website

As I always had interest in economics and computer, i saw it as great course to join in and in a well recognised college around India. The faculty ratio is 1:6 and the professor are quite knowledgeable all are PhD holders from prestigious institutions like iit ,isi ,iim and University of Michigan.

Companies like Microsoft Adobe come here for internships lots of other companies too visit like samsung Bosch Tata birlasoft PWC delloite. A new mou has been signed recently with adrasonic to set up labs in QEDS department which is going to provide internship and placement opportunities too.

As a well-known college, it has a point of attraction for lots of companies. CS IT Ece and MnC has very good placement. There are companies visiting for core branches too. Internship scenario is quite tricky not everyone gets it but those who do has quite high stipend. This year highest placement was 49 lacs with avg of 10.5 lacs and median 8

The fee structure is a little more than iits but not as high as other private colleges. Like bachelors of engineering costs somewhere around 15-16 lacs and IMsc around 10-11 lacs. There are some scholarship for meritorious students like GP birla scholarship and others. There's around 10% fee hike.

I can your life in bit won't be boring here you will get lots of good sports facilities like basketball volleyball football cricket badminton 400-meter running track and ac gym. There are TT tables available in the sports centers and also in every hostel. Though the condition of a lawn tennis court is not so great. There are clubs for every field of interest.

There is almost 13 hostel out of which 2 are for girls. Hostel 1,2,3,4 are recently renovated and has good infrastructure. H11 and H10 are quite large but also has quite a population. Most of the students get single room from first sem itself. H6 and H7 are quite old but has good food. Food tastes are subject to vary with hostels. There is a food canteen but it's not anything exceptional. Internet provided in hostels is very good you normally get 600mbps and can get upto as high as 1gbps sometimes
