Remarks
Yes everyone has to give the entrance exam PESSAT, which is held each year, for CSE Branch, the rank must be under 650. There is a reservation for the state quota but they have different exams, so for getting a good rank Focus on PCM very well. You can find the application form online for the exam PESSAT. The Admission process was very smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got the CSE branch, for CSE the college faculties are just great, and the average package of the CSE branch is quite high. Faculty: The student ratio is about 60 Teachers are well qualified, most of them are subject Ph.D. 2 Mid-semester exams and one End Semester Exam Mid-semester well medium difficulty level but End the semester was tough
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and IBM with stipends of around 45000 per month on average. Projects always differ, generally based on Android development, machine learning, and on specific topics and areas that the company wants first the company engineers train you in initials days and later on you can work with them on specific projects, Internship period is generally June - August, College gives 2.5 months holidays for internships for 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year students
Placement Experience
From 6th-semester students start getting placed, internships you can get from 3rd sem itself. Almost all types of companies come from tier 1 to tier 3, eg. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Adobe, etc to all tier 2 and tier 3 companies, highest package varies but is around 50 lakh, avg package for CSE is 10lpa+. For CSE almost all get placed, I have thought of joining a good company
Fees and Financial Aid
Financial Assistance is provided for poor background students, some students may get 100% fee off. Scholarships are based on performance in each year, if you do well, you can get around 40-50% fee off based on performance ie around 125000 each year
Campus Life
There are many social groups and clubs like AATAMTRISHA, CRICKET CLUB, HACKETHON. A website like Pesu. Io which is very good website is purely run by students and it provides extra courses for students in advance from 1st year itself based on your interest like Android languages like flutter, robotics, machine learning etc.
Hostel Facilities
I was in a hostel, hostels are well maintained with security guards, a warden every time in the hostel, there are different kinds of rooms like 3 sharing, 2 sharing and 1 sharing, all campus including the hostel has a fast wifi connection, hostel rooms have study table, bed, almirah, attach bathroom for 80% rooms, some small blocks of the hostel have a common bathroom, There is a reading room in the hostel. Laundry is also in the hostel
