Remarks

The admission process of all du colleges is very simple. I don't want any improvements as of yet. I got admission after filling du the admission form. I got this college based on my class 12 marks in the top 4 subjects. From 2022 onwards cucet will be there for entrance-based admission. The admission form is available on the du website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Term exams were on the online mode for the last few years and they were easy to score. I got 7.9 cgp as of now but from next semester offline exams are going to happen. I heard from my seniors that offline exams are not so difficult and one can score easily.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 7800 per year

Placement Experience

Most of the students generally opt for higher studies. Internships are there for providing work experience to the students. I heard from my seniors that every year companies visit our campus to offer jobs to the students. Companies that visited our college are HCL Infosys tech Mahindra bajaj finance Flipkart etc. The highest package offered is 15 LPA and the average is 5-6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is about 75%. My plan is to opt for a master of commerce degree from any college at DU.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of now, I didn't get any scholarship but the fees for my course are very less. My entire course is going to cost under 25000. But if you are not a Delhi resident most of your money will go into accommodation and travel. The cost of study of every course is very less in my college. Many internship opportunities are also provided by the college. College also has a finance and investment cell which helps students in learning how to earn money from the stock market etc.

Campus Life

Social groups are there like Rotaract. Many college societies are also there like commerce society arts society dramatical society investment cell. Many Instagram pages are also there like du today and du club to help students. These societies conduct events from time to time like tree plantation drives and blood donation camps. Waste management camp. Annual fest occurs in the month of March and almost fest of all societies are held in March and April. Annual fests of our college are great with DJ lights dance games etc. Sports are also played in our college like football volleyball table tennis etc. The library is very good with all the course books available. Classrooms are spacious with fans. NCC branch is also there in our college.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
