Remarks

The basic eligibility criteria are 45 percent in PCM in class xii and had given the jee mains examination ( i recommend you give it). You can find the application form on the website of HSTES( Haryana state technical education society) website. There you can apply to various universities in Haryana. There is no such major improvement I would like to see in the admission process, just a bit in the like the presentation of the website of universities and HSTES.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I was passionate about having practical knowledge about a particular field, say mechanical, and also, you can switch to other streams later on, as it is the core of most streams. That's the reason I chose this course. Also, this depends on person to person.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are offered to the students from the start of the very first semester which are provided to students who are especially from weaker sections (economically). The stipend of around 80rupee/hour. Projects are also offered but mostly to students of CS/IT/ECE branches. Core branches don't get much attention.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students can start to get placed at the end of the 6th semester. Indian tech companies like Wipro and core companies like Hyundai come to recruit which is a good thing as core branches rarely get placed The highest package was 12 lacs and the lowest was 3.5 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is not very much when we compare it to top-level government-owned institutions LIKE IIT, NIT, and GFTI. there is not that much of a hike in the fees as I know. About 5 k per year at most. The scholarship is available for meritious students. Some internships are also been available from the start of the very 1st semester.

Campus Life

3.5

First is organized nicely. There's no such fixed month for fests, but they are conducted regularly. There is good Availability of books and journals in library. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors for better understanding of concepts. Very good sports facilities available. Clubs are there for students who want to participate in extra-curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In hostel rooms, we have our very own private, closet/almirah, study table, chair, fans, tube light, hostel gym, etc few more. Mess food is better than we expect to have in hostels. The menu is very well designed and students get a balanced diet every day.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
