Remarks
Eligibility : 60% in PCM for Btech. Have to give PESSAT,KCET or at least JEE MAINS and have a better rank for better choice of branches. Application form, fees and dates can be easily found on the official website. The admission process is really great. They also held online counseling for those who couldn't come during Covid. You just have to pay the fee and select the seat according to your merit while counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course I chose is Computer Science because it involves creativity and logical thinking. You can create things which can add value to any person's life. Faculty to student ratio is nice at about 1:20 approximately . Most of the teachers/professors are friendly and a lot can be learnt from them. There are a lot of faculty having PHDs . A few teachers and subjects sometimes get troublesome, otherwise great. The teaching method is a blend of digital and on board. The exams are quite regular and you have to put efforts and time to get good grades.
Internships Opportunities
There are various internship opportunities to explore for students while in college. The internships offered are from top MNCs and many other companies. The stipend offered during internships are also nice and you get a lot to learn and experience.
Placement Experience
The students of 7th semester have placements and internships. There are numerous companies visiting the campus including Google and Microsoft. About above 90-95% of the students get placed. Highest package offered each year varies but can be expected to be around or above 50 LPA. The average package is around 9-10 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees generally hike at about Rs. 10-20,000 every year. Cost to study of PESSAT candidate is very high as compared to K-CET. The are scholarships which you can get for academic brilliance at college like MRD and CNR Rao while scoring high GPAs and being on the top your class.
Campus Life
The life at the campus is lively . The social life is good, if you are a haustellate ,you can make friends and roam around the campus. There are many clubs- technical or non-technical. Annual techno-cultural fests which are held are Maya at EC campus and Aatmatrisha at RR campus. The library will contain all the books which you will need for academics. Every semester some sports events keep on happening.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are nice. You get a shared room of three with an attached bathroom. The electricity and water supply are mostly 24/7. Meal quality at hostel is nice and the menu is set for 4 weeks and there are many varieties. Registration process is easy ,just have to meet and talk with Hostel Warden for details.
