All about IIPE Vizag

The entrance exam for admission at IIPE Visakhapatnam is JEE Advanced examination. Student needs to qualify for the examination and depending on their ranks, they will be shortlisted. The counseling process is done separately. The complete process is given on its website along with the previous year's cutoff.

The course curriculum is designed by highly experienced professors of IITs. The professors of IIPE are highly qualified as well as experienced in their respective areas. Most of the professors have their research experience from top IITs and IISc. The best thing about the faculty of IIPE is that they interact with students and focus individually on every one of them.

Almost all the 3rd year students got internship opportunities at ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, MRPL, BPCL, and ISRO. Along with this, there were some paid internships as well from Gobain (Rs.35000/- as a stipend) and SG Analytics (Rs.25000/- per month as a stipend).

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester and 57 companies visited the campus and 107 offers have been made. PSUs like ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, GAIL, and OIL, and recruit from campus. Other private core companies like IOAPGL, Saint Gobain, Torrent gas, Shell, Schlumberger, HMEL, Deccan Chemicals, L&T, Linde, Dalmia Bharat, etc visited the campus. In addition, noncore companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, EXL, Hitachi, etc came for placement. Around 98% of the students got placed through the campus and some opted for higher studies.

The tuition fee for BTech students is? 75000 per semester. Students are eligible to avail of scholarship in their tuition fee as per the following criteria: Annual family income less than ?100000: 100% of tuition fee Less than ?500000: 2/3rd of tuition fee. For SC/ST students: 100% of the tuition fee. Campus placement of IIPE is very good as PSUs like ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, GAIL, and OIL recruit from campus. Other than PSUs, many private core companies like IOAPGL, Saint Gobain, Torrent gas, Shell, Schlumberger, HMEL, etc. visit and recruits several students from campus. Noncore companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Byjus, Wipro, EXL consultancy, etc select many students. The average package is 9.7 LPA and the highest is 25 LPA with 98% of the students placed.
