Remarks

Eligibility of the course is 12th pass. I filled the application form in college. In the form I gave my 10th and 12th certificate and adhaar card information etc. Than college will give a gmail account and I joined.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen computer science and engineering. There are many faculties and the ratio is about 2:5. All the facilities are good and have best teaching experience. The term exam is conducted after few months from starting of semester. And there are many internal exams every month.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies for internship, Google developer, SARS and many more for stipend they give some money monthly. There are projects such as for making manual robot and boats and make some competition.

Placement Experience

6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies that visit to GIET for placements are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra etc. Highest package is more than 1200000 per annum. 90% of the students get job on campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees for Computer Science and Engineering is 1, 50,000 per year and for hostel it is 75, 000 per year. So it has a sum total of 2, 15,000 per year. There are many odisha scholarship and there are many campus placement.

Campus Life

The event that takes place in Giet is GIETU Tech Fest it takes place around in the month of December. There are many books available in the Library. For sports, In the campus we have a cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court and a Badminton court and kabadi court.

Hostel Facilities

For Boys, There are a total of 11 hostels which are termed as "NC's" and there are 2 or 3 hostels outside the campus. Which are inside the campus. And for Girls the hostels are outside the campus. Meal quality is above average, they provide chicken meals on Wednesday and Friday and egg on Tuesday and at night egg dinner on Wednesday.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
