IIPE: standing chin up in the era of IIT's!!

I got admission into the college through a spot round the admission process was very smooth and there was absolutely no error from their side I was waiting to be shortlisted at around 10:00 a.m. in the morning and the result came at sharp 12 o'clock. Eligibility for the course is that the student must have qualified for JEE advanced and then on the basis of top ranks they get selected in this college. The application form and fees are available on the institute's website. There are also special seats available for reserved categories.

The course curriculum was very nice the faculty are also very disciplined and well maintained they have Thor knowledge of each and every course that they are teaching but since we have gone through online courses that's why we can't say much about them. I chose Chemical engineering since it was the only option available at that rank. The faculty-student ratio is very accurate and the faculties are always available for doubt clearings and extra classes. The faculties are selected through a very tough segregation process involving various exams and interviews and therefore no one can doubt their skills. There are exams conducted on a regular basis which were moderately difficult and designed such as to test the understanding and analytical skills along with knowledge of the student it was difficult to pass but with good preparation, students can pass with flying colors.

Aur college has also shown that no matter how small the name of the institute is the only thing that matters in life is how you perform in the future which is why it has given us some of the best internship opportunities with a good stipend. Recently SG analytics game offers around 20 students for jobs as an intern consultant with a CTC of 3 lakh per annum. For the project, they were required to work as a consultant where they have to profile various companies on the basis of their annual report and websites. Even big companies like Saint Gobain give to offer your students a CTC of 5 lakh per annum.

Our college has a special area of focus for the chemical and petroleum department and therefore major PSUs like ONGC and iucl come there to handpick some of the best-crafted engineers from the country. And they also provide us with a very good package. The students become eligible for sitting in placements after the 7th semester for sometimes from the beginning of the 7th semester only. If we are talking about 2022 then companies such as HPCL have made five offers with a CTC of 17 lakhs per annum whereas ONGC made an offer to 11 students with a CTC of 15 lakhs per annum. There are many more companies and private organizations such as byju's and Infosys which give many offers to our students. This year around 80 offers were made in total to 95 students which are roughly about 85% of total students getting placement offers.

The fee structure is the same as any other government institute with good status will provide special concessions and discounts for reservation category students so they don't have to bother about the payments and can focus on their studies. The fees for one semester are 75000 for the general category and 50000 for the EWS category and there is absolutely no charge for SC ST and OBC category students. Since there is a very minimal amount to be paid as fees to the college therefore there was no requirement for any scholarship or financial assistance.

The campus was very enjoyable as it had all the basic facilities like sports and the locations were also very nice. Since it was in the middle of the city of Vizag therefore it had a lot of amenities including restaurants and malls. There are a lot of annual fests and special workshops conducted for the students who have the knowledge apart from various take fests and extracurricular activities like sports meets. They also conduct various camps such as blood donation camps and etc. Our college Hyderabad source of information in the form of books which are safely stored in the campus library where we can find each and every possible book on the topic we are looking for. Our classrooms have world-class furnishing apart from the latest technology. There is also an available furniture cafeteria just near our classes where we can avail benefits such as coffees and drinking water. There are many social groups formed for various services such as the literary committees and news committees.

I took the hostel facility which was provided by the institute but was monitored by a private contractor hostel used to be maintained and well managed the food there was also very hygienic and delicious. There is a light 24/7 dinner postal and there is a cool cage for cold drinking water during summers. There is a mess menu set for the entire week which includes breakfast lunch dinner and evening snacks. The hostel registration process is also included on the institute website and is very affordable at a near price of 25000 per semester and the price of the meal is around 5000 per month.
