Remarks

For B.tech you should to be a score in the 12th exam minimum of 60% that's the eligibility criteria then you can fill the application form of Aliah University. Aliah University conduct an exam named AUAT you can get the application form on the University website in the month of may-June (you should to visit regularly University website in these months). And then u filled the exam form u got the date of the exam and you to appear. After someday list of selected candidates available on the website. And u go and take admission

Course Curriculum Overview

In B.tech u have five department(CSE, ECE, EEN,MEN,CEN) . All the facilities are well qualified I am from ECE in my course some of them from Jadavpur University. The level of AUAT is quite nominal. Normally basics questions

Internships Opportunities

If you think about internship maximum companies offer at 15000- 20000 stipend that's quite good. If good in every aspect like code, aptitude, etc. Some of the students got 700000 packages from Aliah University

Placement Experience

from 7 semesters you are eligible for placement, many companies visit like cognizant, Wipro, TCS, RDC concrete ( for civil) and also some other companies. 40-50% got placed. Maximum from CSE and ECE.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is the very low whole course of b tech you can do under 58000. And every year you can apply for a scholarship. Specially domicile of WB students got 60000 every year. But in other states, students got only 15000( through nsp)

Campus Life

I don't think about fests as I am a 2nd-year student I haven't seen any fest in our college. Library of Allah is quite good u can get some academic books required for class. In sports mode, you can play Cricket, and football.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
