Remarks

First, give the AUAT(ALIAH UNIVERSITY ADMISSION TEST) the best of your performance you will select and you receive a mail from Aliah University. Another way is you can admit through wb jee also. I am a diploma student. I give AUAT and then I got the lateral entry into the electronics and communication department.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am in this field last 3 years (2018-21) in a pre-graduate diploma course and I love this subject that's why I choose the department. Faculty are good at teaching and they are not offended to explain many times.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 7120 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from 3rd year for internship and 4th year for placement. TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many companies visit our college. Around 70 % of students get placement. My plan after getting a degree is to become a software engineer

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are low as 7120 rs per semester. I got an SVMCM scholarship for my diploma result and verification from college. I am in my second year I don't get any job at this time. The financial faculty is good and they are very helpful.

Campus Life

There is no fest and tech fest also. We have a fresher and farewell party in one year. Books are available in the library not all but most of the books are available. We have a tournament in football and crickets in one at a year.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
