Remarks
Eligibility in B.com depends on your Category (General, OBC, SC, ST). For General Students it's 75% aggregate and 60% in the related subject, for OBC there is 10 relaxation & 25 for SC & ST students. The application form can be found on the college's official website As we filled the form during corona we were exempted from Application fees. I took benefits of the SC Category. Seats are reserved according to the category. The admission process was smooth and doesn't require any improvement now.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I want to pursue my career in this field. The Faculty here is highly educated and professional. There are enough Faculty for the students. All the Professors here are highly qualified and have a lot of knowledge related to their subject and others too. There a single academic year the University conducts two exams Semester1 & Semester2. The difficulty level of the exams is Moderate.
Internships Opportunities
I'm still in my 1st year so I don't have enough knowledge regarding this. But what I heard from my seniors is that the intake is low for internships but there is a lot of internships offers that come from time to time. So, if a student has the potential they will get an internship.
Placement Experience
Only final-year students are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, KPMG, and a lot of other reputed companies visit the campus. But sadly the intake is low as we are just UGs. Around 15% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are very affordable as it's a government college. The fee structure for Bcom is 1020/yr. There are a lot of scholarships which students can avail especially female students. The placement cell here is very good but as for UG courses very less companies come for hiring. You are only eligible for placement in your final year.
Campus Life
The library is very good and has mostly all the necessary books. The classrooms are very clean. The desks are comfortable too. Fans are available in all the classrooms. The college offers varieties of sports to play(Cricket, football, etc.) There are various clubs available too such as Drama Club, and Music Club.
