Remarks

For admission to Aliah University for a b.tech course a student must have physics, chemistry, and mathematics in 10+2 level with at least 60% in overall 3 subjects and pass individually respectively. Foreign application forms or anything related to admission the university brochure is uploaded every year on the college website alias.ac.in. There are no reservation benefits for admission. The website maintenance team must be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I already had a lot of software knowledge and I wanted some hardware knowledge that's why I took this course. The faculties of ECE are very good apart from 2-3 professors. Each year there are roughly 50 students. All the faculties are paths or Gate cracked candidates with a lot of projects and research The college website provides all information about the education of the teachers. The internals is completely dependent on the teachers if they want they can take or you sem exams after every 5 months interval.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

From 6th sem onwards a company named Bassetti provides internships to selective students only. The university provides projects to do, which we have to complete in under the mentorship of a professor and a Ph.D. scholar

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees don't hike in here but get waived on students' demands. Due to covid, our fees were waived 3 times. The college accepts all kinds of scholarships but it will allow you to have only 1 scholarship at a time. The most popular scholarships are SVMCM, MCM and NSP. Financial assistance I didn't need much so I don't have any info about that.

Campus Life

4

In our university no annual fest takes place but every year a grand fresher is organized and a grand Iftaar Majlish is organized. The library is a 5-story building with sort of books more or less. But the library access timings are not okay. You can access it between 10 am to 5 pm only. The classroom has fans and big windows but not ACs. The student union organizes sports events and tournaments apart from that have a swimming pool and gym. There are co-curricular clubs like iot club programming club etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
