Aliah my second home

Admission in aliah university takes place in two ways, by AUAT(for all courses) and by WBJEE(only forb.tech). For b.tech Applicant must have physics chemistry and mathematics in 10+2 level and must have at least 60% in overall all 3 subjects and must have passed in the individual subjects respectively. The university brochure is uploaded to the official website of Aliah university every year just after the exams of class 12th and the application starts after the result publication. Applicants will get all details regarding the courses and their fees in the brochure. There is no reservation system in the admission process. The technical team should work in a better way.

I gave AUAT exam and got this stream but I wanted CSE, however, this stream is also great. The faculty of ECE is beyond my expectations for me. They are very helpful and very good tutors. They never feel disturbed if you ask for doubt. Each year there are about 50 students. The faculties are maximum PHDs. You will get all info about them from the college website. The internal exams are not very frequent but the sem exams are around 5 months in the gap.

Bassetti provides internships to many students from the 3rd year onwards but to very few students. For betterment, our college provides projects to all students under a mentor who is a faculty and a Ph.D. scholar.

The students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester onwards but students must not have any backlogs. The top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and byjus but many more companies also visit. The highest package was offered of 10lacs per annum and the average was about 4 lacs per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is very high for the last 2-3 years. I will for better job opportunities and try to do a startup.

I never heard about fees at Aliah University. The fees are very reasonable and low for a student. The most popular scholarships are SVMCM, MCM and NSP, but the college allows many more scholarships but a student can have only one scholarship at a time.

There is no annual fest but the college does organize a grand iftar party and grand freshers every year. The library of Aliah University is a 5-storey building and have all sort of books a student can have, you can issue two books at a time and you will require membership. The classrooms are not so great, the fans don't work always but it has big windows which give a lot of light and air. The college doesn't organize any sports events but the student union does. There is no social group only educational clubs which you can join.
