Remarks

1. Eligibility - Qualify JEE mains with a good rank. Qualification- 12 th pass with a minimum of 75%.(60% for Others category excluding general) 2. In iiests.ac.in you can find the application form, fees, and dates. 3 . Fees waiver is applicable if your parent's income is less than Rs 5 lakhs per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

1. I choose Aerospace because I was interested in this and this is one of the rare national-level colleges to provide this course apart from 4 IITs. 2. There are sufficient faculties in each department separately for teaching. 3 . The professors are well qualified. Many of them have done Ph.D. from different IITs and NITs and also taught there. 4. Each semester has 2 exams mid-sem and End-sem. The paper is of a moderate level and is based on topics taught by professors.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like Google, Hindustan Aeronautics limited, and many more provide internship opportunities. Roles-it varied on what internship u got. Some seniors got the rule of teaching and in some, they were acting as learners from experienced faculties.

Placement Experience

3.5

1.100-120 companies with different specialties visited this year and offered placements to various departments. 2. Top companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc visited and offered 5-20 placements depending on the branch of study. 3. Highest package was around 60 Lakhs for the CS department the and average was from 14-22 lakhs varying branch-wise. 4.% of students getting placement varied branch-wise as some branch students choose higher studies through GATE rank. But CS, IT, and Civil departments went for placements mostly. 5. Currently I plan to go for higher studies after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are reasonable as it is an Institute of national importance. It is 1.4 lakhs per year. Financial benefits- get reduced to less than Rs 60000 if your parent's income is less than Rs 5 lakhs per annum. In 2020-22 the fees were also reduced due to Covid-19.

Campus Life

3.5

1. REBECA and Instruo are cultural and annual fests held at IIEST SHIPPER. The events have both been conducted in 2020-21 due to covid-19. But there is a high chance of it in 2022. 2. A separate big building called Ramanujan library full of new and old books and journals on different topics exists inside the campus. 3. The classroom is equipped with modern equipment like a projector, speakers, etc. It is a smart class type. 4. Different courts are there for different sports and 3 grounds are there for cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

1. The room has 2 windows, fans and tube lights. A big table, bed, and almirah are provided for each student individually. The hostel is surrounded by greenery. 2. The quality of the meal is okay and the menu is decided by students and told to mess section for each day. Separate meals are there for veg and non-veg. 3. During the admission process you will be asked to register for the ho el and give the required fees. The fees are not too expensive as it is Rs 55000 for an entire year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
