Admissions are done through JEE mains exam. you can apply for JEE mains through their official website and jee mains is held twice every year in months of June and July. For admission in IIEST CST course you need a rank between 9-12k in jee mains.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason behind choosing CST is that the placements of CST and IT branches are very good here . Maximum placements go above 50 Lakh per annum. In a class of 80 with 5 theory subjects their are 10 teachers i.e. 2 teachers for each subject. In laboratory classes their are 8 teachers for 40 students. All the faculties are well qualified like PG and PhD from IITs and foreign universities. Their are mid sem exams in mid of a semester and end sem exams in end of a semester and class tests after completion of a chapter.

Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements at the end of 3rd year . Some famous companies like IBM, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, INDIAN OIL, RELIANCE, ITC, HIDUSTAN MOTORS, TATA are the frequent visitors. Highest package for 2021 was 51.75 LPA and in 2022 it was around 52 LPA and of campus highest was above 1cr, 1022 companies visited and made 635 offers for a batch of 533 Btech students. Research facilities are very good in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester fee is around 65,000 but you can get 2/3rd or full waiver if your family income is less than 5 lakhs or less than 1 lakh per annum. Scholarships are provided by the alumni's and there are several clubs like code IIEST that help you for jobs.
Campus Life
The campus is full of greenery with three lakes inside the campus, located at the bank of hoogly river , the atmosphere is humid and rainy most of the times in a year. Their are 15 hostels for residence . Their are clubs for extra curricular activities like EUPHONY(music club), REFLEXOBETA(dance club) , EDC (entrepreneurship club)and many more. Their are two grounds LORDS ground and OVAL ground where cricket and football matches are held, there is a swimming pool , gym , badminton court , basketball and volleyball court. RAMANUJAN central library has a good collection of books.
Hostel Facilities
In a hostel room you get a bed , table , almirah and fans and proper lighting . Each hostel has its seperate mess and menu is decide by the head cook and mess manager(one of the students). PG and flats are easi;y available in nearby locality.
