iit ism dhanbad

it's admission is through jee advanced in which we have to qualify for jee mains priorly and therafter qualify jee advanced within a certain cutoff. the selection of college and course is based on josaa counselling and our seat allocation is done through the process. and the cutoff is based on every reservation(eg: obc,sc,st,female,phd have different cutoffs. and it is coming for every iit and nit since many years and the process is completely well designed and there are no changes to do in the process of admission

i joined the course due to my personal interest an my jee advancedrank is also suitable for the course . and coming to faculty:students ratio it is 1:133 for 1st year students, but there will be many phd graduating students with us in our classes to help us at the time of classes.

there are no particular companies specified, like tata, samsung, google amd many more, they will recruit according to the need. many will do web development internships and they have to do either front end development or back end development. they are also paid stipend. our students are also get internships from our local companies like coal limited in which they have to work in the industry

from 6th semester placements are offered. around 114 companies are visited for placements and 675 offers are made. highest package is around 90 lakhs per annum and average package is of 18 lakhs. around 85% people are placed every year it may vary a bit but average is 85%. my plans are going for campus placements.

there is no fee hike from many years and it is fixed. it is around 230000 for 1st year and it vary for all the years students. it takes a total of 1020000 for completion of 4 years in mechanical engineering and vary if we got backlog. and fee waivers are provided according to their reservation. for sc/st total tution fee is deducted. for persons whose family income is below 1 lakh/annum total tution fee is deducted. and whose family income is between 1 lakh and 5 lakh will ahve to pay 1/3rd of total tution fee. and for financial assistance of merit candidates ismaana scholorship is provided for limited students in which total hostel fee is deducted.

biggest fest of this college is srijan which we havent faced due to covid restrictions. but many small events will be conducted. the library is one of the main attraction of this campus in which many books are provided and are given to hostel too by taking details. it also have a reading floor which is veey pleasent and around 400 members can be accomodated with silence. it is provided wifi of high speed.class rooms are also semi digital, some concepta are taught on board and others on projectes screen. while coming to sports it is one of the best colleges for sports facilities. for every sport seperate large space is provided are two stadiumss are also present. while coming to clubs around 27 clubs are there in our college covering almost every talent of a student. these are all run by students of our college ourselves.

room is given a high speed wifi of speed ariund 80 mbps and it increases at night time.the floor and washrooms are also cleaned regularly.the meals are not so good but eatable. and non vegetarions can enjoy it better than vegetarions, becausenon veg food is served on more days and it will be some what tasier than remaining. hostel registration is also completely online but physixcal verification of some documents are done before entering for the hostel fo the first time. hostel fee is around 18000 per semester and it varies per every semester according to the period.there are 9 hostels in our college and there will be large enough space to accomodate.
