A little brief about my college -KGEC

First, you want to give WBJEE exam. After a high secondary examination with 55 % marks, one can take admitted to KGEC through WBJEE counselling with a better rank WBJEE Board conduct the counselling on the basis of your rank and your choice. One can also take admission through decentralized. 10 % of seats are reserved for sc-st students (approx). It is a govt college so academic fees are very less than another private college. The classrooms are very nice. the college campus is large and green.

I choose ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING because I love this course. From childhood, I have been interested in electronic elements. My college infrastructure is good, and faculty members are friendly and help a lot in my study In this course total of 12 teachers and 60 students were present. The faculty are well educated (mostly done PhD degrees) and their teaching method is very good. Yearly two semesters are conducted by MAKAUT. Most of the students pass the exam.

Students have the opportunity to get an internship from the 2nd/3rd year. A better internship depends on his skills. If one has great skill, he can get a good internship. Even though I have done no internship, now I am building my skills for the best internship.

Every year many students got placed (on-campus). This year many IT companies visit our college campus. Almost 90-95% placed in TCS NINJA, TCS DIGITAL, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, AMAZON etc. Many core companies are also visited this year. Total no of offer 426.

College fees are very less (approx 12000/yr). MAny students got SVMCM scholarship, OASIS scholarship. Except for this, there is an opportunity for full freeship or half freeship. My placement record this year is very good. Almost 90-95% of students get placed in TCS Ninja, TCS digital, Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon etc. Many core companies are also visited this year. The average package is 4.5 lakhs.

There are many clubs like robotics club, cultural club, photography club, automobile club etc. The name of the annual fest is Expektro which is conducted on the first of the year. There are lots of different books in the library which help in study or general knowledge. Every lab is fully Ac . Every classroom has a projector with a board. There is also occurred annual sports.
