Remarks
Admission was on a merit basis. 97% was the last cutoff for the general category. I got admission through the EWS category I had 94.4%. First, you have to register on the Delhi University admission portal then you can apply for the admissions when the cutoff will release.
Course Curriculum Overview
Food technology is never going to be in the downfall as we saw in COVID lockdowns. 56 students are in our class. Every teacher is Ph.D., it's the best college for food technology. They will teach you through PPTs. You have to work hard but it's an easy course though and also interesting.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in 1st year. Most of the internship programs are for 2nd and 3rd-year students. I know about the projects that our seniors have worked on like they made candy out of waste and peel of watermelon, it was quite interesting.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of fees is too low as compared to other courses, 13030 only. Teachers will help you to get internships you have to perform there to get placements. Don't expect on-campus placements, you'll get the opportunity through teachers' contact and alumni.
Campus Life
Srijan is the annual fest of our college and Ambrosia is the food technology department's club name. Only Department's books/papers will be in the library not other things like government exams. It's a science college so very less craze for extracurricular activities. Students have instant and WhatsApp groups.
