Remarks

The eligibility of the course is a 12th pass with a science or diploma. The application process is online and the application fee is 500 and the dates are 25th of October. Yes there are reservation seats for sc st and OBC. The process of admission is good enough and I don't think any extra improvement for admission is required.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be an engineer so I chose this course. 10:1 faculty and students ratio. Faculty are well educated from good institutes and teaching method personally I don't like that much. Every after 6 months conducted semester exams and medium-difficult to only pass but u want excellent marks in exams so u study hardly and it was difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't have such knowledge of the companies and roles offered under internships with stipend. Bro,I told you I am not interested in placements so I don't spend my brain in such things. By seniors I know that u represent a project in final year.

Placement Experience

After 3rd year the students become eligible for campus placement. Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Tata, TCS etc companies visited. Highest package by IT companies and average package by TCS. 40% of students get placements but other students go for higher studies. I don't go for placements and I don't study engineering to do in private companies. Either I do a government job or I start a start-up company. And I want to be a rapper (artist)

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of our university is 6500 per semester But the fees or cost of study comparatively is low to other universities for b.tech courses. SVMCM scholarship given by the university. And I don't have any idea about financial assistance and the job I got on campus and its stipend.

Campus Life

There is no monthly any fest, our one or two fests in a year. There are enough books in the library. Good amenities in the classroom. In our university mainly football, cricket, and volleyball sports activities are good but there was politics and not other extra circular activity. Anti-ragging group run by students.

Hostel Facilities

There was 1 bed, chair, table, and store for each student in the hostel. Meal quality is average. Apply for a hostel in online mode on aliah university website. Before I joined the hostel I rented a pg and the locality is good for students.

Hostel Fee: INR 3600 per year

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
