Opportunities in University

You should have 50% or above on boards. You can apply directly or you can apply through your JEE score. Application forms are available on the website of NIIT University after the board exams are over till the end of September.

I chose this course because it was saving me 1 year and the faculty: student ratio is very low which is about 1:10, which was one of the main reasons for choosing this course, moreover, the university is surrounded by a green belt which looks so beautiful. The faculty here are well qualified and graduated from universities like IIM, IIT, LU, etc. Term exams were moderate and due to relative grading, it was not very difficult to pass them.

University provides 2 months of marketing internship every summer break and in the 8th semester, the university collaborates with different companies and provides 6 months of internship to students. Projects and tasks during the 2 months internship are usually digital marketing-based tasks

Placement starts from the second last semester i.e. 7th semester. Many companies, mostly startups come to the university for placement. University provides 100% placement with 8 lacs to be the highest and 5.5 lacs to be the average package.

The tuition fees in university are about 2 lacs a year then the hostel is compulsory which costs around 2.5 lacs a year. If you have scored well in JEE, you may get up to 75% of the scholarship on tuition fees. Moreover, the university provides 24,000 rs internship during summer break.

There are 2 fests conducted in the university, the first is in December which is a tech-fest, sinusoid, and the other fest is a cultural fest that happens in April. There are many other events in the university like kavishaala open mics, TedXNIITUniversity, Rangmanch, etc. All the books are available in the library with an easy process for issuing the book required to you. Classrooms are well equipped like a smart classroom with EAT systems which keeps the room's temperature moderate.

Rooms have an almari, a writing desk, and a chair and bed, which is pretty comfortable. Meal quality does not match the expected quality as they are taking so much money but don't provide the same food. The registration process is easy in a hostel, you can choose the room you want, usually, people take rooms beside their friends' room.

Since I was a PCM student, my interview was based on science and maths general questions followed by an aptitude test. The process was very easy as I scored 95 percentile in IIT JEE so I got the fee waiver of 50%.
