Rajganj Government Polytechnic is the life of Fatapukur and also all over Jalpaigiri.

For the entrance examination, you have to complete JEXPO which is conducted every year in the month of May. The eligibility for taking this entrance is the 10th pass with a 30% mark. The age criteria are 16 years. The application form fee of Jexpo is 450 INR. Application is filled in the month of December of the previous year. There is also have reservation benefit. Our college is a new college in the West Bengal polytechnic structure. But teachers and their style of teaching are very good. They are very educated and helpful. I have chosen this course because I love electricity and power. This is a 3years diploma course. Most of the teacher's qualifications are Ph.D. They are very helpful. Every time they help students a lot in many ways like providing books, notes, etc. Every 6 months there is also an end-semester examination, which is really very tough to clear. Many students fail this exam. Pass marks for the end-semester exam are 40.

In the first year, the fees are nearly 1600 INR all over the year. The tuition fee is 50 INR per month and extra additional fees. The registration fee is 200 INR. But students get various types of scholarships and they are helped by this type of scholarship. SVACHH, Oasis many scholarships like this help students a lot. In addition to that student credit card is accepted here. This college provides placement opportunities in various reputed company of all over India.

The campus is ragging-free. Ragging is offensive here. Students are seen as very respected here. Senior students teach the Junior. All students are friendly. So campus life is very smooth. Annually freshers' welcome party is given by the final year students. In addition to that, all other festivals like Saraswati puja have also occurred. Every year annual sports is also is a part of our college's life.
