Entrance Preview

JEE is the most common mode of exam. Not the best college. So any moderate score is good. Average college but Teaching staff are the best . Most of the good teachers move to the best college soon taking quality experience from this institution.

I have opted for ECE . I am an average student. But the teaching method here is not ordinary. The lecturer in the institution are amazing. They don't teach ordinary. They make a delivery to bring extraordinary performance in every student. Salutes to them for their detailed and dedicated effort. I have opted for ECE . I am an average student. Placement Experience

They bring one or two good company . And most of the people are placed with off campuses. People have already been placed in the top organization. Though college tries its best to bring on campus. But no lucky yet. Hope with last 8 years there is some improvement in this bucket.

This institution is reach about cultural activity and event celebration. They arrange many festival and celebration under the cultural cause and ISTE chapter. They do timely Project work shops , seminars related to Robotics, Artificial Intelligence.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very economical compared to other colleges. 4 years fee during 2009 was around 2 lakhs. Considering current rate it will be around 6 lakhs.

Yes, in the final year all the good students were given a chance to take class of 1 st and 2 nd year students. And you can start earning scholarship from your study time. Really amazing. Proud RITian. Am one of those.

Food Quality is good. Berhampur the city has many varieties food. The city is famous for its food and the same is observed everywhere you go in the city.

YES, they are. People from here not this college. This place are real wonderful. Lovely place , lovely people.

Exam Structure

They follow BPUT exam structure. In which 8 semesters are there. Every semester 3 internal exams are there. Semester exams are from university and internal exam are conducted by college. Marking is (10+10+10+70).

Admission

JEE exam. Followed by BPUT admission process. There are some management seats also available . All streams are available. ETC and CS are high demand always. This college has also MCA, Mechanical and civil branch.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
