Remarks

Eligibility for the course is that you should have opted for mathematics in your 12th that you can have in addition or can have as a main subject. The application form, fees and dates are the same as those of other colleges of Delhi University so you can get that on the official site of Du. I know only about OBC reservations and I got relief of 2-3 % in comparison to general. The admission process is best in itself you will not face any problems surely.

I choose Bcom Hons because I have to do MBA in my further studies and am interested in Account and law so that's why. The faculty is good and supportive and surely you will never miss a lecture due to a lack of teachers because they are having 2-3 teachers for every subject. The faculty of Hons courses are experienced and have PhD and masters in their desired subject but the new courses mainly vocational are having young teachers. The exams are conducted on half yearly semester basis and it is a little hard or we can say that if you study properly surely you will pass.

Internships Opportunities

In the annual year, the students had received internship opportunities from placement cell and stipend from many societies they aren't known to me but I am sure that students had received striped. I don't have any knowledge about this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for all courses in this college are very low but the staying cost in PGs and flat can go high and the rest is up to your lifestyle. The cost of staying is too high as the college is not having any hostel. Nil

Campus Life

Annual fest -Tatva 22 and on 18-20 April and haven't seen any tech fest. You will get most of the books in the library you will search for and if any book isn't there you can notify the library staff and they will provide the book ASAP. The campus is a step backward in sports but ahead in curricular activities, the dance society of college is very famous in DU and all other societies like fashion societies and others. Personally, I don't know any group like this but students help the poor and needy on their behalf. But students from the college are members of many NGOs and social organisations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class.
