Remarks

The admission process was very smooth. It was totally an online procedure and I think it is much better than the offline procedure. I didn't give any entrance for taking admission, at that time admission was on the basis of the 12th percentage (top 4). My course is Bsc physical science with cs. Now admission procedure totally changes so you have to go through cuet.

The teachers are all good. They will give you good marks in internals. Du exams are so easy to pass you have to just mug up past 10 yr papers. But before that, you have to focus on your basics. If you mug up 10 yr then I'm sure you are going to top in the exam.

Placement Experience

Placements are not quite good in this college until you are from BCom Hons or Eco homes. For physical science courses, you will get a placement of not more than 2 lakhs. I'll suggest you go for MSc or MCA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quite high for science courses if you compare it with BA and BCOM. But yes it is much low than the private colleges. If you have an EWS certificate then you can easily get a fee refund. The scholarship is for SC/ST students is that they can get books for free.

Campus Life

DU is all about social life, you will explore lots of things here, if you are not from Delhi then definitely you will see a lot of new things here. We have lots of clubs and societies 1. NCC/NSS 2. SHIKHAR MOUNTAINEERING Club 3. Rangayan 4. Vedanta 5. Abvp/NSUI/HAPPY CLUB etc. 6. SFS Lot more For sports we have 1. Table tennis 2. Badminton 3. Cricket 4. Football 5. Basketball 6. Kabbadi

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons.
