Remarks

Student politics happen in the college. Regionality plays a part in it which is very bad

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE. I scored 194/360. Got all India 15k rank. I chose this college because it is ranked as one of the best colleges. I chose civil because I was good at mathematics

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was very well designed. We got to know a lot of theory and practical experience. The labs were well designed and provided the best quality instruments. The research being done here is top class so are the professors. The quality of research work done here is top class

Internships Opportunities

Yes. The internship turned out to be the best experience as lot of out of the box thinking has been done during internships in order to think creatively. the stipend was 6k

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements were pretty good. Around 70 percent of the students got placed overall. In civil, 60 percent got placed. All the top notch companies came to pick students. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Walmart provided humongous salaries. Different ranges of companies came for placements

College Events

5

We celebrated republic day, independence day, many other national holidays as well as many other cultural and regional festivals. We had college feats too. We had the tires of festivals. Technical, cultural and sports. People from various college turned up for these

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very affordable. Per semester it was around 40k rupees including everything. This fee amount I am mentioning here is for a hosteller. For a days scholar it was very cheap. We even got scholarship. With all of these I can say it was worth it

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given through Merit or merit cum means. Loan of amount 3.5 L is provided by the SBI located in the campus

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio was 6:4. Men vs women. The extracurricular activities included conducting and participating. We proactively participated in all the sports. The debates and drama club provide much needed break from the studies. Overall, it was up to the mark

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel food was bad. In the last year's while we were leaving the college, it got improved. The workers treated us like prisoners. We were given bad quality of food. Sometimes rats turned up in the food. The news food was a big nightmare for every student

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni advised us in deciding whether to take higher studies or to settle for job. They were very helpful in academics purposes

Exam Structure

The exams were very competitive. Not that they are very tough, they are very logical and helpful in understanding the whole concept. Lab exams were interesting. Overall, exams are a chilled out. We used to complete our exam papers 30 minutes before the exam and leave

Admission

The notification was released and I went to the college before the last date. The procedure was smooth and it got finished on the same day. The institute provided rooms to complete the process. Overall, the process was very smoothly handled by the institute.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is really top class. The professors had lot of knowledge which cannot be obtained from any text book. The facility is so friendly that they even attend the celebrations along with the students. They advise the students how to manage college work as well as sports and extracurricular
