Remarks

Admission process: It was quite smooth. You have to give IPU CET exam and pass it. Then you have to send the documents for verification online/ offline. You can find the application form on the IPU site itself by logging in to the student portal. You can also avail scholarship if you have scored more than 80% in the CBSE boards exam or if you have any sports certificate (Zonal, State, Nationals). Improvement: All was okay and smooth, didn't face any issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

You can check the course curriculum on GGSIPU's official site. Faculty members are good, however less as compared to other colleges. I chose this course because the computer is in trend. Faculty: The student ratio is around 40:3. Faculty is quite qualified and their teaching method is good, especially in BCA. Terms exam comes in every 4-5 months. The difficulty is moderate, if you can give proper time to classes you can easily cover up the syllabus

Internships Opportunities

Companies are mostly TCS, Tech Mahindra, h, Wipro, by us, Paytm, etc and stipends vary from 5k to 20k. Group projects and individual projects are given to clarify the tasks and to improve skills like teamwork, discipline, creativity, etc.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is quite active and good. After the 2nd semester onwards you become eligible for jobs, and internships. Companies - Accenture, Deloitte. Cognizant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL, etc. The average package is nearly 3.5-4 lac p.a. Highest package is 6 LPA Percentage of a students getting placement is around 80%

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure - 72000 per year of BCA If you belong to Delhi, 85% of seats are reserved for you in GGSIPU colleges. Seats are also reserved for SC/ST and OBC. Scholarship - above 80% in higher secondary, sports quota if you have zonal, state, or national.

Campus Life

Life at the campus: It is okayish. The campus is good, but quite strict rules. Availability of Books: The library is quite good, you can find books of different genres. Sports: Cricket competition organized. And also there are courts for Volleyball, Basketball, and Lawn tennis court. Amenities in classrooms: Air-conditioned, good benches, and peaceful atmosphere. Didn't find any social groups, or clubs yet!

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placements.Students can become eligible for placements from 3rd year . More than 20 companies visit for campus placements which give multiple offers. Highest package offered -12lpa and average package is around 5lpa.I am planning to pursue MCA after my BCA degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Talk about why I choose BCA I want to become a software engineer and many people in my family have placed on good posts after being inspired by them, I chose this course. All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

Secure and Affordable Hostel Stay at KCC

I appeared for CUET but didn't get admission through it. Due to high cutoff,I choose KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education because of its affordable fees structure and decent academic environment and good faculty for BCA. Other colleges had much higher annual fees, which made KCC a more budget-friendly option for me and my family. The admission process at KCC is through GGSIPU CET councelling based on 12th percentage.No seperate entrance exam needed for BCA.The cutoffs varies every year, but students with 50%+ in 12th usually get admission....Read More

Average college with good campus

I choosed this college because of it's campus and aaffordable fees structure. You will not be able to find any other college with this much area of campus with low fees structure. sharda university is also there with big campus but their fees structure is also very high as compare to KCC. to get admission in KCC you need to appear in IPUCET and on that basis you will get either direct admission or you have to go through the counselling session....Read More
