Remarks

Kuchinda college is the oldest college in western Odisha which gives quality education. There is no entrance exam held in the college for admission in ug courses at my time. It was really the first option for the nearby students. we find kuchind college website's application fee and application dates are provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

Classes start from 7 am to 2 pm and there are practical classes from 2 pm to 4 pm (Thursday and Saturday every week). The teaching method was good. Overall I enjoyed my study here. I mention the Odia course because Odia is a very simple teaching method that is very good at all Sambalpur University. All exams are very timely and very hard process.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college so the fees for the courses are very low. Scholarships are given to poor students. There are many Honours of the kuchinda science fees are 7000, commerce fees are 6500 and art fees are 5892.

Campus Life

There were two hostels at my time one for girls and another for boys. I used to stay in girls' hostels. The college does not provide a meal facility to students. The infrastructure was not that good. The college building was also a bit old.

Hostel Facilities

Festivals like Ganesh puja, saraswati puja, anual function, teachers day celebration, and annual sports day are held every year. The life in college was very enjoyable. I have learned many things besides studies in my college.

Interview Experience

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

General graduation college in Kuchinda

Admission to our college are done based on the percentage of marks obtained by the student at the 10 + 2 or equivalent level. I scored 82 percentage in the class 12th board examination on the basis of that percentage I made an application for the B.Com program. Once again application was accepted normal procedure of admission followed and I was granted the mission in the program.
