I didn't give any entrance exams. I was given on the basis of merit. In IMS Ghaziabad, at least 45% marks are required in board exams. The scores are accepted from all recognized boards. Maximum students are from the Uttar Pradesh board and the CBSE board. Reservation benefits are available for the students from, ST, SC, and OBC.

IMS Ghaziabad has the best firewall system in the whole Ghaziabad district. The students get hands-on learning experience through this system. Also, the faculties are highly trained and experienced. Besides are main studies, many events and competitions are organized in the institute to facilitate the proper growth of the students. For classroom teaching, not only textbooks are used but also PPTs, PDFs, student presentations, practical sessions in computer labs, fun games, etc. are used for better understanding of the students. The main motive of education in IMS is the understanding of the concept.

From the 5th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The institute provides assistance to the students, regarding the placements and trains them for the same. Most of the aspirants get placed in one or another company. This year one of my friends in the 5th semester was offered by three companies.

Financial aid is given to the students belonging to the economically weaker section of society. They are given scholarships from the institute. Also, there is an EWL club on campus, which provides on-campus internship opportunities. For BCA students it's a great opportunity, we can actually put our skills to use and earn a stipend of 3,000 Rs. per week. You can get work as a photographer, graphic designer, content writer, or videographer.

The Institute has a Wi-fi campus and it's fully air-conditioned. All necessary amenities are available in the classrooms, they are laptop friendly. Sockets are present at the end of each table, they have projectors with speakers and a whiteboard. For BCA students the most famous and grand event organized by the institute is Hackathon, where students are asked to hack the college network and break their firewall, it has big cash prizes. There are around 33 student-run clubs providing domain-specific information, developing employability skills, and many other things. It has 3 food hubs, a canteen, a mess, and a maggie hotspot. The food quality and taste are acceptable.
