While getting admission to top du colleges. It was really an easy process. First of all, calculate your top 4 marks in your subject and then see the cut-off for college in which u are eligible and then go for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing a b.com Hons from a reputed college Shaheed Bhagat Singh college. It's my 3rd year. Teachers are good helping hands. Few are egoistic, but the overall fine experience. Exams as everyone says are easy, but it's moderate and as well as hard if you want to score high.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 8990 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are cool I have done almost 11 internships to date and u love .it increases my knowledge, and interaction with people helps to increase my personality. Internships unpaid or paid we should go for it.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided by sbsc but placement ratios are not good here even though the average placement is 4 lacs which is very low in my terms. Not everyone gets the placements from college for that you need to upskill yourself in any field except studying you should be practical.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is really very simple. The yearly fee is 6700 and other exclusive fees total make 8500 and yes it's worth it. I applied for the scholarship and you would too after paying the admission fee.

Campus Life

I am very happy that I got such a good college, the faculty is good I love it social life is what you will admire if you get in here. There is one negative which brings me down in the sports complex. There is no such complex, just a table tennis room which is a sports room as well, cricket ground which is not so good.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
