Remarks
There are lot of improvements that need to be mare . There is a lack of professionalism and infrastructure, both of which need to be taken care of. The college management needs to be a little more organized .
Entrance Preview
I went for MAT and Scored a 560. I went for Jims kalkaji, because the return in investment here, based on the fees n average placement is quite reasonable.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good, but can be improved upon . For instance, the emphasis on exams is too much. Projects and live studies should be promoted. Also, the guest lectures are not too great . Only a few have been abLe to actually stimulate the students . Rest of the time, guest lectures are quite monotonous.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, internships are provided The. College makes sure all the students are placed . The company names, profiles are certainly not up to the mark. Profiles being offered are often not fit for a pgdm student.
Placement Experience
The average package is around 3.5 lakh. Various companies such as axis Bank, videocon, HCl, cbre are some participants . Apart from these big names, there are many lesser known companies and startups involved. Again, the profiles offered are often not fit for a pgdm student .
College Events
There are various cultural programs, including pop star nights and management fests. Sports meets are also organized, although the college does not have the infrastructure for training or practicing. Fresher's, farewells, convocations are also organized. The college. Constantly sends students as delegates to various conferences and academic events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible . Around 6lakh 25 thousand. To be paid in 4 installments. The fees is not too much .and with the installments it is feasible. The placement packages offered seems fair in comparison. You can save up if you score a scholarship in the fees .
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes .. based on your academic record, including school, graduation and MAT score you can get a scholarship for 10%, 25% , 50%. There are various other scholarships too, based on various parameters set other than the academics .
Campus Life
The campus life is alright. Not too great, but based on the fees we are paying , there is not much infrastructure we could have hoped for . It's a 7 on 10. We are supposed to wear formal attire , which is stressing, but the rule is certainly valid and has its own merit . It is simply a preparation for the corporate life .
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility . The canteen is not up to the mark . The campus is not a resident campus and does not have any tie ups with hostels or pg . The canteen is quite small, not very tasty food offered. Although the canteen staff is quite friendly, food preparation is not that great ...but obviously, with the fees such as it is, that's all that can be hoped for.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the seniors and alumni are constantly involved. They even mentor the current students . We have mentorship projects where the alums guide us and mentor us . They oversee the projects. Often these alums visit the campus for guest lectures as well .
Exam Structure
The exams are held in every trimester. Both mid terms and end terms . There are labs held for spss, excel, communication etc. The exams are constantly upon the students. There is too much emphasis on exams. It might be better to eradicate mid terms and replacing them with certain projects or other activities.
Admission
I appeared for a mat exam and then was approached by the college via mail . I had to fill up everything online. Then I appeared for the college held group discussion and personal interview round . These were conducted by college faculty itself. Over 400-500 hundred students appeared for them ..in the end only 180 were selected. After I was selected, I got a call and then went back to submit my certificates.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified and knowledgeable. But only a few are able to connect with students . There is too much black board teaching . The presentations are taken seriously only by a few teachers . There is some biasness from some teachers as well.
