Remarks

Admission was done through IPU CET, but it can also be done through management quota. The eligibility criteria for the BCA program is 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with a pass in English (core or elective or functional). You can also avail a scholarship if you have scored 80% in the CBSE board exams or also with any sports certificate (zonal, state, national).

I chose this course because it is a computer-based course and I'm very interested in computers and knowing about them (coding, web development, DBMS, etc.). Faculty members are highly educated and friendly, which makes students get a better understanding.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are also provided by the college only after the 3rd semester. companies are Paytm, Wipro, TCS, etc. Group projects and individual projects are given, which can help you to get experience for later.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided by the college only. Colleges also offer internships after the third semester. package for placement is 3-5 lacs. The maximum package is 10 lacs for the BCA course. Companies like HCL, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. The percentage of getting placed is 60-70%, depending on one's skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is Rs. 70,000 per year, which is quite affordable, and 85% of seats in GGSIPU are reserved for you if you are from Delhi or NCR. You can also get a scholarship in this college if your score on the CBSE 12th board is over 80% and also with sports quota.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good. It has some strict rules which you have to follow. Seminars are conducted every week or two in the college's auditorium. Various festivals and events are held there. Sports competitions are also organized in cricket, volleyball, badminton etc. The college has their own basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, and cricket courts. Classes and labs are air-conditioned, with good benches and a peaceful atmosphere. There are not any social groups or clubs yet, but hopefully they'll introduce them soon

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Talk about why I choose BCA I want to become a software engineer and many people in my family have placed on good posts after being inspired by them, I chose this course. All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

Secure and Affordable Hostel Stay at KCC

I appeared for CUET but didn't get admission through it. Due to high cutoff,I choose KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education because of its affordable fees structure and decent academic environment and good faculty for BCA. Other colleges had much higher annual fees, which made KCC a more budget-friendly option for me and my family. Average college with good campus

I choosed this college because of it's campus and aaffordable fees structure. You will not be able to find any other college with this much area of campus with low fees structure. sharda university is also there with big campus but their fees structure is also very high as compare to KCC. to get admission in KCC you need to appear in IPUCET and on that basis you will get either direct admission or you have to go through the counselling session....Read More
