Entrance Preview
No entrance exam. You need to score 70 percent to get in here. I opted because my seniors recommended me. that was the best decision.
Course Curriculum Overview
Jain college not only focuses on typical classroom studies. They believe in grooming the students through real-life experiences, industry visit, corporate seminar and lot many other extra curriculum activities. If you come here, every day some or the other opportunities will knock your door. It depends on the individuals how they take that opportunity.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, they do provide internship in the different sector. The stipend starts from 15k to 50K. Top companies come for internship recruitment, if you do well in the internship, they will give you the placement as well.
Placement Experience
Trust me, Jain college provides 100% placement. companies like Google, Pwc, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Future first and so on. Name the company, you will find here. package for Bcom, BBM courses starts from 4 lakh to 12 lakh per annum.
College Events
Every week different kind of events happen. It can be related to technical, cultural and management. Under technical part inter-college quiz competition, and various international and national case studies usually happen. Under management event like best manager, marketing, PR, and finance round happens. various kind of cultural activities like inter-college dance, singing and skit competition.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is comparatively high. It's between 1-2 lakh for every year but it's worth paying because the exposure you get here can't be comparable to other colleges. if you can't afford this. You can apply for Bangalore university under join college. fees are comparatively less.
Fees and Financial Aid
sport quota people get the scholarship. I am not much aware of the scholarship. As far as I know scholarship is available to sports quota student.
Campus Life
the gender ratio of male and female is 60% to 40%. outdoor campus is not that great but indoor is pretty good.when it comes to indoor activities, a lot of happening activities keeps going on. every once in a month workshop is held related to NGOs and other sectors. here people come from all over India and different country.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are pretty good and safe. All the facilities are given in hostel. It's good to go in a hostel for new joiners because you can make friends. for hostelite, there is a different kind of events like get together events and once in a year they also take you to the outstation trip. They also take you to the outdoor events. Coming to food, It's really hygiene and healthy.
Alumni/Alumna
Recently I went to Alumni meet up. where I met few of my seniors and teachers. I made more connection in alumni meetup which will help me in future.
Exam Structure
Every 3 months you have to write internal assessment test.If you miss the internal test then your semester final marks will be affected. Semester wise you need to appear and need to have 80 percent attendance to attend the exam. If you don't have minimum attendance criteria, you won't be allowed to appear for the exam. The exam structure is not so hectic, you get sufficient time to prepare for the exam.
Admission
The admission process is so simple:- There is a lot of campus of the jain college. You need to decide which campus you want to get in. Application forms are available online. To get in here you need to score 70% on your academics and followed by face to face interview. or else you can directly come to the college and take the admission. This is especially for commerce program.
Faculty
All the faculties are highly qualified to teach the courses.They are very much interested in teaching, through their guidance and knowledge many people have identified their strength. Most often visiting faculties from different industries come to teach. They teach us real life case studies and experiences.
