Remarks

I have only applied in ARSD and I got it in 2 and cut off the admission process was quite simple you have to book a seat first after the cut-off is released and after that, u can go to our respective college and fill all sorts of details and get ur documents verified and then pay ur fees within 24 hrs of admission

Course Curriculum Overview

As my background was of commerce and I did not have maths with me in my 12 th so I have to opt for Bcom from And The student ratio is quite high there as in my course only there were about 200+ students. Almost all the teachers there have Ph.D. in their respective fields The teachers were very good and supportive. We have a total of 6 semesters in Bcom prog and we have exams every 6 months.

Various famous companies like okay and skillshare for campus ambassadors provide u an average of rs 10000 performance-based stipend and if you are interested and they are impressed by your work they can even hier you with a good job offer.

Placement Experience

Students from the first sem can apply for internships and U can apply for college placements in your final year About 30-40 companies come to college for college placements and provide u with an average placement of 3-4 lakh The highest package for this year was 6-7 lakh by Deloitte and tres vista and the average was 3-4 lakh by Larsen and turbo etc About 300 students get placed every year in campus placement which is about 30-40%

Fees and Financial Aid

As ARSD is a part of DU which is a government college so the fees are quite low there for my particular course which is BCom u have to only pay 11000 for one year plus the 1200 exam fee. Various scholarships are given to students like to Up students scholarship is provided Campus placement is quite nice you can get up to 6 to 7 lakh placement.

Campus Life

As Du is famous is for its fests..the fests are nice the crowd is very nice ..fests are generally conducted from January to April Library to have a very wide selection of books and U can keep books for 14 days and after 14 days u have to give 1 rs per day for the book u kept with u. There are various college societies too according to your interest like For social welfare NSS for Acting RANGAYAN for entrepreneurship ENTERPRENEURSHIP cell If you are someone u wants to join NCC the college gives u a really good opportunity

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons.
