Remarks

The college is very good and the faculties are well informative. the placement is good but the fees for the particular courses re very high

Entrance Preview

(BCA) I was good in programming and always wanted to pursue my carrier in information technology, so this made me choose this course over other courses. For admission candidate has to first give written examination related to English and then has to sit for an interview and then the result is declared.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is good and well designed according to the semesters and is very useful to the students, but some courses like Foreign language are made mandatory which are not accatable by most of the students, which decreases the value of main courses of program

Internships Opportunities

No, the college don't provide any internship. Companies come only at the times of Placement not for internships, for internships we have to find companies by our own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is very expansive in amity university. it takes 100000 per semester for MCA regular classes, being a private university no one listens for the refund of fees if the amount has been send to university because of some problem at gateway.they just keep on sending students to different persons but the work don't get done

Fees and Financial Aid

yes study lone facility is available at amity university. Scholarship events are also being conducted at the college and the deserving students are given the scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

amity has a gender ratio of 1:1. The number of male students are almost same as the number of female students. some of the sports facilities at amity are : Promotion of Sports is one of the major concerns of our modern society. Excellence in sports is possible on the sound foundation of Physical Education and Movement Education. In the contemporary scenario, success in physical education and sports depends upon the quality of leaders who are well prepared through formal and informal acquisitions of multidimensional knowledge and training in the specialized discipline and its effective transaction. Having realized the challenges of the 21 st century, the Amity University Uttar Pradesh felt a genuine need of setting up a most modern and well equipped Physical Education Institution with a firm commitment to produce innovative sports leaders, managers and administrators who will be proactive in facing health and fitness challenges with a mix of modern and traditional methods and approaches. The Amity School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Noida is recognised by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The Institute has well qualified, committed and competent teacher educators to shape the personalities of teacher trainees into successful professionals. Experts from various fields of physical education and visiting faculty are invited on a regular basis for enrichment lectures and intellectual guidance to the trainees. The Institute goes beyond the prescribed curriculum to ensure all round development of the teacher trainees. Many value additions are provided to them like Enhancing Personal Behavioural Sciences, Skills, Leadership/Military Training Camp, Language Proficiency Classes, Yoga/Meditation for all etc. The institute takes pride in excellent placement records.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is good but is very expensive.Thousands of students from all across the country live in Amity Residences, which come closest to being 'a home away from home'. The separate facilities for boys and girls, caring wardens and a tight security ensures a pleasant stay allowing you to focus on your academics. The air-conditioned residential apartment suites consist of 4 single rooms with an attached bathroom and sitting lounge equipped with sofa, cable TV and refrigerator. Normal non-A/C hostel rooms are also available. Students also get a highly professional on-campus laundry service from the famous London House. Whilst internet access and STD facilities ensure close contact with family and friends outside, the fully equipped common rooms allow for that relaxed time with friends on Campus. The campus has strict security through smart cards, biometric readers, latest IP cameras, fire warning systems, 24-hour guards and patrolling gypsys. For total care for in any emergencies, we have tie-ups with leading hospital chains like Apollo for immediate and preferential treatment. There is also an on-campus Bank and ATM facility.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, the senior students are very helpful and are very interactive . They always listen to their junior and always try to shot out with their problem.

Exam Structure

Actually the exam structure is not that good, sometimes the exams are held back-to back, some times after a gap of 8 days. or sometimes there are 2 exams on the same day. sometimes the exam structure really becomes very hectic and stress full.

Admission

For admission at first candidate has to first fill online form with all the details and has to do online payment of Rs 1100 for the form. Then he will be given a date for the submission of hard copy of the form and an interview. Then on the day he has to give a written examination related to English and then has to sit for an interview and then the result is declared

Faculty

4

The university has good quality of faculties. They mostly poses the following quality: 1. Study the knowledge base of teaching and learning. 2. Accept all who enter the classroom door. 3. Plan for instructional management. 4. Teach with a variety of strategies. 5. Use assessment to inform students of their achievement.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.
