Entrance Preview
RPET.Rank was approx 3000. at the time of admission Arya College was one of the best college of Jaipur, in terms of Placements, Study, Labs etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was quite good as our collge was under Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Which was applied in the year of 2010. We were the first batch passed out from RTU. Curriculum had different streams subjects as well like Micro processor, Embeded systems as wll.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. In the field of Linux, networking, Java, C, C++ and many more. When I was in college they did not provide stipend but only provided certifictaion.
Placement Experience
Placements and Job opportunities were very good. Only bad thing was in year 2010 we faced a duration of recession. Due to which all colleges got affected. I did not have the job when I passed out from the college but later on, I got 2 offers. From Capegemini and HCL.
College Events
Lots of events in college tech fest. Musimania, Paper Presentation, Dance, Just a Minute, Debate, Poster Making, Robotics, Extempour, Fashion show etc. All students participated in diferent competitions. It was inter college fest so other colleges students wer also involved.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was quite feasible at my time. Semester wise feee structure. We submit our fee in two parts in every year. Apart from this examination fee also at the time of examination. Fee was neither so high nor low, so it was affordable at that time. RTU fixed the fee for each college and it was same for all colleges in jaipur
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't about it as I have already mentioned that I was Day scholar. Might be there was a program for loan facility provided by college. Scholarship was provided to someone, i heard about it. A girl was in college got some kind of scholar ship program.
Campus Life
Very good. As i have mentioned earlier as well, in the college tech fest all these programs were conducted by college students itself. This had participation of students and faculty both. Gender ratio was quite good as it was co-ed college and in computer science branch we have good number of girls as well.
Hostel Facilities
I was not a hostler as I was day scholar. So i don't have much to say about it but as I heard about lot of stories of hostlers. All says that hostle life is best part of enginnerring or any other college life. All my friend who stayed in college hostel enjoyed their time very much. Its like fun loving and learning experience for them.
Alumni/Alumna
College always conduct Alumini program, and invites us to attend such kind of programs at regukar basis. Its runnnig from 2006 onwards,
Exam Structure
Semester system. We had 1 year for our first year and then 2nd, 3rd and 4th year was divided in 2 semesters. Exams were held in either month of May-June or in the month of Dec-Jan. Apart from external we had internals as well. 2 Mid Trem exam in each semester and then external exam.
Admission
By going through engineering entrance exam RPET. Post result filled my counselling form with list of colleges in Jaipur. Arya college was on top in list and then 3-4 more colleges. Got my desired college post counselling result i.e. Arya College of Engg & IT.
Faculty
Faculties were knowledgeable and well trained to educate us. Most of them were from Engineering background and few of them were M.Sc. All faculties were tried to explain the course with help of study material, ppts, projectors. Good learning method they had used.
