Epiphany moments of 4 years journey.

i had the best 4 years journey in this temple,although i didnt get placed from campus,but i didnt stopped,i knew my collage has trained me with all the required skills to sustain in real world and thrive for success. with this belief i got placed off campus in very well known startup company in pune.now when i look back, this place has completely transformed me and now i am much more refined person as compared to 4 years before.

I had given AIEEE and MHT-CET and had scored 130 in MHT-CET,Which was very good score for getting into above average colleges,I choose this college as this was most reputed college in Nashik city which was my hometown and one of the best institutions under pune university.it ranks 9th in Maharashtra state and stood at 85th position in top 100 engineering college.Also the fees was affordable and i had the luxury of staying at home and was able to spend more time with family.

The course curriculum was revised in year 2012 ,the year when i entered first year engineering,we had completely new pattern and way of conducting exams,pune university had launched online 50 - 50 pattern,where about 50 marks will be conducted online and remaining 50 was offline theory,this was really beneficial as it gave us pre exposure to GATE exam which is conducted online,thus we had a competitive advantage.overall the syllables was revised with modern technologies,trends,tools happening in IT industry.In final year electives were very interesting and updated with current market trends ,some of them were Mobile Computing,Internet of things,Business Intelligence,Geo informatics,Cloud computing,E&M governance,Advanced Networking,Multimedia Technologies.this syllables had really honed my craft in understanding complex technologies in market and being able to implement them to solve real life problems

Yes our college does internships opportunities and promotes exposure to industrial skills , as it enhances and builds resume greatly. following are the internship opportunities provided - BSNL from electronics students , Mahindra rise for electrical students ,Winjit /ESDS for Comp/IT students. The average stipend range from 5000-7000 rupees per month. also, our college eagerly encourages students to look for internship opportunities on sites like internshala.com,hackerrank.com,hackerearth.com,topcoder.com and promotes courses like NPTEL,Course-era,Lynda.com and other educational sites

The following companies visited our campus - The big league companies include Nvidia,L&T infotech,TCS,Videocon,Mahindra Rise .. Mid level companies include KPIT,Finiq,Winjit,ESDS and in local city based nashik includes some startups which were sunshine technologies. the highest package was 7 lacks ctc for nvidia and average package was 3.4 lacks ctc for kpit,winjit,L&T .overall out 4500 students about 750 were placed. mostly were from IT,CS,Electronics Background.

There are various technical level celebrated which are of national level,every department in our college organizes techincal event ,the biggest of them is IET- karmaveer expo which is of electrical department. The Karmaveer expo organizes national level technical event where students from all over the colleges of india participate ,present their working models which is related to green energy,bio gas, electronics, information technology.cash prizes of worth rs 2,50,000 and more.some of the events name are code it out,fifa games,ISTE,ACM,Presentation events and also our college promotes ACM-ICPC events. speaking of cultural events,our college hosts cutlural event named MAFFICK ,which has dance,music,fashion show ,arts and various events.

during my time - year 2012 ,it was as follows For engineering First Year to Final Year - 62,000 Rs institute fee and 5000 Rs library,gym fee. For MBA ,First year to Final year - 65,000 Rs institute fee and 5000 Rs library,gym fee. For MCA, First year to Final Year - 57,000 Rs institute fee and 5000 Rs library,gym fee.

Cash prizes are given to those who are university rankers and have played a sport event at university level . Following are the cash prizes being awarded for following category: University rank - 1st - 51,000 rs University rank - 1st in particular subject - 25,000rs University rank - 2nd - 35,000 rs University rank - 3rd - 20,000 rs University rank - 2st in particular subject - 10,000rs University rank - 3rd in particular subject - 5,000rs University Level- Sports event Played - 50,000rs Also Best outgoing student,best technical student,best sports student are being awarded to students with good prize money.

a very colorful and action packed campus life with lots of melo-dramas,extra curricular activities,arts,drama,fashion show etc.various student bodies are there to participate like musical reeves,sporty rebels and geeky coders .the gender equality is dependent on branch stream,for mechanical its very unbalanced with lots of muscular,hunk men and very few girls ,whereas in IT/CS/Electronics branch its filled with beautiful girls and very few lucky boys.farewells,freshers party,sports event are organized,hostel late night parties, birthday parties,teachers day ..overall a very wonderful 4 years experience.

Hostel is a very huge and boasts about 900 students both boys and girls ,with Lushgreen campus and sports facilities like basketball,badminton,table tennis etc. also the mess food is decent and hygienic with well balanced nutritious diet consisting of milk,eggs,sprouts,green leafy vegetables ..only rice is not good good and dal which is very thin.the hostel fee is around 50,000 per year and for mess its 42,000 per year ,also the hostel has medical kit for any sports injury.

The college has a very strong alumni network ,it regularly conducts alumni meet in Pune,Bangalore,Delhi and other metropolitan cities.it also conducts foreign alumni meets in USA- Washington DC to promote networking and encourage meetups,the seniors are very helpful in placement assistance and for networking opportunities.the college has a separate section of alumni department ,very active on social media .

The exam structure is very relaxed giving ample amount of time to prepare ,college regularly conducts practicals and mocks tests before final semester exam,the labs are well equipped with modern tools and have excellent industrial tie-ups,following is the breakdown of exam conducted at college , for first year - its 25 marks online + 25 marks online + 50 marks theory which is rounded to 100 marks , also we have physical test for boys and girls which has grading assessment,its not compulsory.

The admission process was centralized ,where we had to fill the form online and apply for the colleges. the seat allotment was based on merit,i had given the first preference to kkwagh college nashik and stream selected was Information technology,the reason i choose this stream was i was fond of computers and so i decided to pursue my 4 years engineering course in this field. there were total 3 rounds which were called CAP rounds ,the first round had a very high cut off and depending on that the bright students with allotted the most primer colleges ,then there was round 2 where the cutoff was bit low.and finally was management round.where institute level quota was carried where about 20% of seats are filled from donation basis.
