Being a private engineering college, it was the most affordable engineering college. College is fully residential for students and as well as faculty.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, we have enjoyed a full and half scholarship for every year. We have to appear for an interview in front of college officials every year for scholarship, there they will decide to whom the scholarship will be granted. The constraints for getting scholarship is economically backward candidate with good current CGPA.

Campus Life

As we have enjoyed the fully residential campus, we had a very beautiful campus life and enjoyed fullest. We have play grounds for cricket, foot ball, basket ball and volley ball as well. Indoor games and gym facilities were also there.

The exam structure is totally from west bengal university of technology.

I think in our time we have best faculty in comparison with other private engineering colleges. We had Ex. Faculty from reputed engineering institutions like IIT Kharagpur, Sibpur Engg. College, Jadavpur University

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
