Poor Administration

I would students not to take admission in this college untill and unless the Management takes some serious efforts to improve and work to focus on students' career rather than just filling their own pockets. Poor faculty and facilities. Horrible environme

WBJEE. Had no idea about the colleges of West Bengal and randomly filled out options and so was allotted this one.

No internship has been ever offered to any students and it's not in the Management's duty. The college is under Camellia Group which has many resorts. The whole of their funds are invested there. Colleges of this group seems to be just for their hobby. They have just been built. No maintenance ever since then.

Nothing is being done about students' placement. No placement. No companies are being invited and it's not of the college's interest. Students are also not given the environment and instructions so that they can bloom in their own way. The response of the teacher demoralizes students. Even the good students lose their confidence after spending time in this campus and rather decay. Even the good students are refused in interviews of offcampusing just because they belong here.

No fests are conducted by college. Seminars are conducted for which students have to pay to attend every time. Even if the students try to come up with new ideas, they are not supported by the Management.

Fee structure is a medium one. Neither too high, nor too low. But a college like this surely need to cut down the fee if they are willing to give students just degrees without actually worrying and working for its students future.

No scholarship programs or loan facilities are given to students. The ST/SC and OBC students enjoy scholarship programs given to them by their respective state governments. No steps have been taken by the college to uplift the financially inefficient ones.

Nothing is done by the college. Sports, debates etc are conducted by few students for which no fund is given to them by the college. Their is an e-week conducted by NEN, but the funds which comes for it is all grasped by the college rather than investing on students co-curricular activities or anything.

Hostel is an average one. But no maintenance is done. Cleanliness is not maintained at root level. Just the formal cleaning purpose is followed which on long term use cannot sustain.

The environment is bad. But this is due to some uncontrolled toxic students who along with them leave noyhing to spoil the campus. Their is no discipline in the campus. No one is ever punished on breaking any rule, in fact there is no rule here ,neither gr students, nor the teachers. Just students are fined for some intolerance rather than making them realise of their mistakes.

Exams and labs were hectic. But no labs are there for fourth year students. No classes are conducted for them. Exams are hectic more because few teachers actually teach properly and mostly the students have to prepare all by themselves.
