Ketan Sharma's Review On Ramjas College, New Delhi

Ramjas college is the best college in terms of everything. I got admission in 2015 and I was very excited. The college has a very modest and top class teachers and professors who wholeheartedly help the students not only in academics but also in other perspective of life. College management is Ramajs was a bit filthy but now as our principal has changed the management has begun to work efficiently and better . They have now better response system and give timely notices .

Actually I was not good in studies also I didn't wanted to do engineering , so but as a default or trend I gave the JEE exam and scored 56 marks which is not optimal for a general category student , also my parents supported me so I took Bsc physical science as my subject as I was not sure if I am good at any one subject or I would have taken a single subject course . I am really happy for my decision because now I am aspiring to be an MBA so there will no much use of my graduation. And ramjas college and delhi university has given me a lot of exposure and real life experience which only delhi can give . the journey till now is amazing .

The course curriculum is average . its not so hard and not so easy . In a semester we get a plenty of time doing our things and learning other things along with the academic knowledge . there are outfield projects and extra subjects for enhancing knowledge which can be used in daily life .

Yes , as I said earlier delhi university especially north campus give a lot of exposure to a student studying here . Internship is one of them I got involved in a Internship with an NGO for a month which I saw on my college Facebook page . Also internship fair are organized in the college to promote real life experience.

Job opportunities are average as it is a bachelors college and not a professional college .but some. courses have really good job packages like the commerce and the eco department have good job opportunities. But in the science department graduation is just the beginning and hence not much companies come to take science graduates . but science graduates have good opportunity to get selected for msc or Amy other research programs . A lot of seminars are being held in the college and renowned scientists come to speak about their research . if somebody is I terested the. He or she. Can intern with the scientists and have a good carrier ahead .

A lot of event have been celebrated in my college recently as it was the centennial year of ramjas college . A centennial parade , annual sports day , a lot of Bollywood celebs come to the college for promoting their films and college student are very excited about it .

Fee structure is very feasible as only ₹12000 per annum is the highest fees paid by a student in the college . An arts course cost something about 8000 While a commerce course cost 10000 and science course 12000 for a science course because it involves lab work I think .

There are a lot scholarship available at delhi university mostly are for the SC and ST students and students from the north east and ladhak or Kashmir . The scholarships are both monthly and annually . the student have to just ask out in the office time to time if there's any notice about the scholarship or one can check out the websites of delhi university

Campus life in delhi university north campus is awesome not only you are in your own college but you get to know a lot about other colleges as each college in north campus is just adjacent to each other . Gender ratio is not a case in here especially in case of girls , as DU takes students having high percentage and girls get easy admissions hence population of girls is almost double and diversity and varsity of people coming from all over India . The extra curriculum is a hell lot in north campus whatever it may be from Dancing to sports to arts to sing you get ample of opportunities for everything g .

Hostel facility is good but not good as compared to other college hostels like hindu and hansraj Mess food is also good . as I don't live I. The college hostel I can't tell much hostel is good in delhi university but the fact is there are very limited seats is the hostel . Only two people from each course that too the toppers are given rooms in the hostel and some quota or if you know some influential person the. You can easily get a seat in the hostel

Alumni network is not that good but seniors are very helpful in every step in the college or outside . as it is delhi you have to be very alert and also you need help to live happily in delhi so seniors are most supporting not only in Ramajs college but every college in delhi university One reason is the election. . Elections here are taken very seriously as its the biggest student democracy .

Exam structure of Delhi university is good . as the college is under delhi university it follows all the rules and regulations of the university for the exams. Exams are basically based on the regialtions placed by the university . hence ramjas college doesn't play any role in that.

I got admission in third cutoff by ramjas college before this I took admission in deshbandhu college . so when I got an opportunity to shift to a north campus college I was excited and did the same . The admission process was a bit lengthy but seniors are always there to help . Also I was helped with my verifications very much as I was an outstation candidate . One of the lab assistant helped me on the admission day and I am very thank full to him .

Faculty of the college is very modest and helpful . As they are highly qualified teachers they have an extra edge on the subject and the chemistry department and eco department of Ramajs college is just awesome with a long list of awesome teachers .
